One of the most urgent issues facing society today is the impact of climate change on food security, food production, farming, and animal and human health. The University of British Columbia (UBC) Faculty of Land and Food Systems needed a brand and recruitment platform that could inspire today’s teens to lead urgent global issues by combining science and social impact for just and sustainable solutions in agriculture, nutrition, health, food safety, and security.

We developed a brand strategy by facilitating discovery sessions with faculty, staff and students to understand the unique thinking, skills and care that fuels the Faculty of Land and Food Systems community. We also worked carefully to create a unique expression for the faculty within UBC’s brand system. To activate the new brand, we worked closely with the Faculty’s communication, marketing and recruitment teams to design ads, presentations, and recruitment tools to serve their recruitment goals.
